I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the Centre, who either sent me “Get Well” cards and emails or made phone calls, following my accident on 2nd May, and then my recent stay in Worcester Hospital for more than 4 weeks, during which time I underwent 3 operations and had gallons of antibiotics pumped through me.

The last operation was to have a skin graft on my left leg to help heal the point where a bad infection had developed and needed to be surgically removed, leaving a rather large hole !!.

I am now back at home and it is starting to look as though I’m on the mend but I know that it’s going to be a slow process. I really am looking forward to getting back into the Caravan and returning to see you all on the Rallies again.

On a happier note, we had previously enjoyed a fabulous February and March on one site in the Algarve, Portugal, and then spent April in Spain, slowly returning to Calais to cross back on 6th May, but that seems a long way back now.

It’s not until you are in a bad situation like we have been, that you realise how many long term friends you have made in the Worcestershire Centre and I can’t explain how much it means to us when that card or email comes through, it really does pick you up and helps more than any medicine.

A big thanks once again to all our true friends in the Worcestershire Centre, and also for the flowers and chocolates which were sent on behalf of everyone.

Love

Lyn and Paul xxxxxxxx
